Kento Ishimoto

Kento Ishimoto is a New York-based musician, sound artist, yoga instructor, and tea practitioner who specializes in blending traditional Japanese cultural arts with contemporary wellness experiences. Trained in the Japanese tea ceremony under Master Yoshitsugu Nagano, he frequently hosts community pop-ups throughout NYC—such as his "Katonah Yoga + Matcha Ceremony"—and has collaborated with local specialty purveyors like Kettl Tea. As a multimedia artist, he composes original music and ambient sound designs, including contributions to the Ooze / Made Land project at the New York Latin American Art Triennial. Additionally, he is an active figure in Brooklyn's creative circles and the local longboard freestyle community.
